If you’ve ever walked on court feeling fine and then turned into a tense, nervous stranger once the match starts… this is for you. In 7 short emails, you’ll understand what’s going on in your brain and body using real sport psychology, not made-up “mental coaching.”

This course is not generic “be positive” nonsense. It’s not motivational quotes copy-pasted from instagram. I am not a random mindset coach riffing on “mental toughness.”
Instead, you’ll get concepts pulled from: Cognitive Appraisal Theory, the BPM Model of Threat and Challenge, Attentional Control Theory, Achievement Goal Theory, research on cognitive and somatic anxiety.
All things sport psychology professionals rely on in their work. And I’ll explain it you like you’re a tennis player—not a PhD or MS student in sport psychology.

Hey, I’m Malhar. I’m an MS(c) in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, CMPC® in-training, and a PTR-certified coach.
I’ve been: a collegiate player, a collegiate coach, a former Director of Tennis at a public facility, and a guy who absolutely struggled with match anxiety for years. I’ve not shifted my focus into getting properly educated and credentialed to work as a sport psychology professional.
I wish I’d had this kind of education when I was trying to play competitively. My goal with this course is simple: help you understand what’s happening in matches so you stop thinking that “something’s wrong” with you, and so that you start seeing what’s actually trainable—your mental skills.
Day 1: How your approach to matches could be causing you your challenges.
Day 2: How your attention (your most valuable resource) is being hijacked.
Day 3 & 4: Ego orientation versus mastery.
Day 5 & 6: Cognitive anxiety and somatic anxiety.
Day 7: A review and bringing it all together.
And that’s what I’ll teach you. Ready to decode your match nerves using applied sport psychology and mental performance? Sign up below.
